Over time we all get tired...   at SALT in Cincy, God spoke to us in so many ways.   For me personally... the Great Commission came into even greater focus... I am called to raise up a generation of radical Spirit-filled students to touch the campuses of America and the World.  God put U of Cincy on my heart... to raise and train up students to re-pioneer XA at that campus.   

I also felt the Lord rekindling my bones... intimacy and passion for Jesus is so key for our ministry... Chi Alpha is called to be a people who are hungry for God and who seek and love Him.   Exciting times are a head as we gather to pray and fast in order to know Jesus....more!

The Bible tells us that all of the law (the governance of proper human behavior) is fulfilled when we

1) Love the Lord with everything in us
2) We love our neighbors as ourselves

I have been thinking about what it means to love our neighbors as ourselves... truth be told... there is nobody that we are more obsessed with than ourselves...

We think about what we want all the time... serving ourselves... focused on meeting our needs, wants and every desire...

--- I just want to nap
--- I am hungry
--- love me
--- I hope I look good

If we are to love others like we love ourselves... than we would need to make our lives about caring and meeting other peoples needs and not our own...

I think the reason Christians do not share Jesus is that they are still selfish... their needs are met... now if they can just get the next spiritual high or buzz...

Challenge yourself:  love your neighbor like yourself...  Jesus will show up.

I have ankle surgery on Thursday morning... pray for my recovery and for XA.
